I think it's pretty scary just to think that civilians actually need that kind of firepower, nevermind small girls...
There have only been two accounts of a foreign attack on US soil, and yet *some* americans still believe that if they don't have a gun, they are in danger...how many armies do they think they will have to fight with?
If you need guns that much just join the army and take a look at what effect guns have on people, let alone a few cars.

1st off...it isnt the civilians and the lil girl who owns the gun...if u didnt notice it said it was at a firearm trade show... they put on a big show for all the big guns and stuff, and even let people shoot them.

2nd... most ppl in usa dont buy a gun to protect themselves from other invading countries, but to protect themselves from robbers, gang members, etc etc.

dont go assuming were preparing for war just cuz americans want to have a gun to protect themselves and their property from people who rob and steal and commit crimes.

If somebody comes into my home offensively and unwanted i have the right to shoot them on the spot.

i think the shooting was fun even for the little girl. she looked like she liked the rush of shooting . while she grows; she'll find out that the only place u can shoot like that; and on real targets..will be the army. god bless america that's trying to brainwash little girls into shooting so they become soldiers.

i love living in oklahoma. a state that backs it's lawful citizens right to defend himself/herself is a great place to live.

to the ignorant posts above like "*some* americans still believe that if they don't have a gun, they are in danger". all i will say is obviously, your not in the least bit concerned with you or your familys safety and must rely on the police to ensure it, even though it's not their duty.

it's our job to protect our property, loved ones ect... if you dont believe that, i'm sure darwin will sort you soon enough.

why dont you have it so nobody has guns, even the police, like we have in uk. You are less likely to get shot, and if law and order breaks down, you are not going to have bands of nutters with uzis roaming about. At most you would have bands of nutters with pointy sticks.

Meanwhile, the number of firearms in the US has grown by millions over the last 15 years. The number of states allowing any law-abiding citizen to carry a concealed firearm has grown considerably over the last 15 years. And OUR violent crime rates have dropped substantially over the last 15 years.
