Nothing creepy about that. You can tell that thier is a good atmosphere between them. Even to the point of friendly joking around.
Kimbo you're just looking for something that isn't there...

Think of this in combination with the joint press conference with Bush and Merkel. At the conference, Bush continually referred to the pig they were about to eat — while discussing the situation in the Middle East between two groups of people who don't eat pork no less. It is his folksy charm and willful ignorance which play well in the US but are incomprehensible and offensive to many in the rest of the world.

sure it was a "joke", and she was smiling, but that doesn't make it less creepy. Some people tend to laugh of giggle in tense, awkward situations. Her initial reaction really says it all: it's one of aversion.
Regardless, that was INAPPROPRIATE for that situation. I haven't heard anything in the news that tells me these two "world leaders" have that type of "chummy" relationship.
He might not have snuck-up on her, but it clearly wasn't welcome.

Why is he a dumbass? It was clearly just a friendly joke. Nothing in the news? The news is biased beyond all repair...just because they don't report it dosn't mean it isn't there.
This is similar to a time one of my friends was sitting at a bar, he knew the bartender...someone came up behind him and said "He serving you alchohol son?" Kid turned around and it was the bus driver. It still wasn't a "chummy" relationship but it was still acceptable.

Hello my dear "clip-a-day-collegues"! This is Max Roth, from germany. I'm not german, but I did spend 25 of my 40 years in germany, and I can tell you: Mrs. MERKEL did really not like at all this "action", because Mr. Bush did show with this behaving what he thinks about women at all (not only about german women): "In Texas we keep the women in the kitchen, taking care of their business - like cooking for the children and their husbands, and sometimes we have them also in the bedroom.... - But we don't want them as Chancellors or Presidents! - .....and if some of them manage to get a position like this, we can still play around with them, like we use to do it back home!" (In germany even in a medium-sized company, or in the "normal business life" no one ever, ever, ever would behave on to the other like this, doesn't matter if the people involved are women, men or whatever..... Be sure, I know the german "way of thinking"....) Thanx & Bye! Sincerely yours, Max Roth....

So which are you Max Roth, German or Texan. Have you forgotten Ann Richards,I dont recall her in a kitchen or god forbid a bedroom. Please dont speak for Germans, Texans or American ever again, you are not my spokesperson.

Doesn't matter what country they are in- common sense tells you she is raising her arms up to show his hands are not welcome- he is ignorant.
