The F word, I use when I'm around certain people. If this type of media is allowed on national TV as common lingo, give it ten years and you won't be able to get away from it. It sounds cool to younger people until they get old. Then they have to keep it low around their children. So I would have to say it F'in sucks. Get my drift.

Tim, as a site owner myself I believe these words are edited to surpass corporate firewalls, hence created a larger user base. To much profanity in forums or comment list will send off a red light. It all about balance and I've noticed much has not been edited on this site. This is standard practice from Google to Digg to Slashdot., JP

you can hear the f word on lots of shows on lots of channels. i have even heard it from pro sports players in the middle of a hockey game!!it's up to the parents to talk to their kids about foul language,just like drugs.

I am from The Netherlands, some of you may heard of the city Amsterdam, well that's our capital. This is one of the most liberal countries in the world. Gambling, drug use (softdrugs like weed) and prostitution is legal.

This might shock or even offend you.

The reason for this being legal is that we think it is only gonna make things worse if we forbid all these things while knowing they happen anyway. The main rule is 'if it doesn't hurt anyone (besides the adult whose doing it) it's best to allow it on a certain scale and regulate it'. Profanities are allowed, along as they (again) don't hurt anyone, that's why discrimintation is a fellony. This liberal thinking has it's downsite, no doubt about it!, but it's (in my opinion) better than the hypocrite ways in which the US governement is appoaching these matters.
