When used inappropriately the word can be found offensive. In this case the song was very popular in the US back in the 80's and is considered a classic in the Rap/HipHip genre. I find it rather humorous, similar to Old School Eddie Murphy or Dave Chapelle. Futhermore the internet is for grown ups and this site is PG13 of course. It's all in good fun!

That was pretty stupid. I agree that I also cringe when I hear the "N" word, no matter WHO is saying it. That video could have been done better.
