Child abuse!!!! This is actually a babysitter cam and the parents sued the babysitter for you guessed it....$980.00. Right after the clip stops the baby bent his knee and they butted heads knocking the guy out. The baby landed on top of him and pinned him for the 3 count. The baby is now the world champion of the bantem weight vs heavy weight class and going on a world tour starting this spring.

You can see the string holding that kid up,no way could a kid stand on 1 leg that long.I think the kid was forced to wear a leg brace which forces the 1 leg straight,I am sure it is stunting his growth..on the channel 13 news they said he was 12 years old.

OK Here's the deal, I just found out there's a one month or so window in a baby's life that this can happen. They can lock their knees while it's happening.

That clipm has been on Howard Sterns E show for th past week.. it's Artie Lang you idiots doing that with the shows producers kid... the producer went balsitic on Artie after it was shown.. it was a hilarious show..

wow, that's awesome. most prosecutors have to spend enormous resources to prove child endangerment, but these people are kind enough to put it neatly on a videotape.

I have to say, that is pretty amazing. Although, I am sure this is one of those "kids, do not try this at home" type of deals :-) I did know a guy who did that with his dog. The dog would stand on it's hind legs and he would balance him just like that. Cool video for once.

Good to see dad spending some time with is kid without Social services beating down his path, (although the wife will probably use the video against him when divorce court time rolls around, chld endagerment...).We all know how ugly those proceedings can be! (especially on the children)

Willie Dean's right! It is great for the kid and his dad to spend quality time being clowns! Although, it won't be very fun when the kid FALLS! As my grandpa says, "You start out laughing and you end up crying."

I do this with my 5.5 month old daughter. I just tried it one day a couple of weeks ago and she just did it. Not one footed though, I think we have to work up to that. She's not strong enough yet. But some babies like my daughter can hold themselves very stiff. She has been able to stand on my lap since about 2 weeks of age. I think she could have done the stand-on-the-hand balance thing from maybe 3.5 or 4 months onwards, but I didn't try until 5 months. Before 3.5 months her head wasn't steady enough, it would have thrown the balance off too much.

This is not a very dangerous stunt. It is easy to tell if the kid is getting out of balance and catch them in an instant.

I tried it because I heard about it years ago from a friend who said that her kid's dad used to do it when the kid was a little baby. I doubt that it's a new stunt, it's probably been done since forever. I even think I saw a book cover a couple of years ago that had a baby being balanced on an outstretched hand.
