Sorry...this looks fake. Hitting a deer does a lo
t more damage to a car than that. Especially the
body of a race car. And the what happened to the
deer looks too cg.

It looks fake because the legs of the deer go stif
f. however it was a very funny vid :P lols!

totally fake...if you look closely, you can see th
e jet turbines on the "deer" providing f
or the thrust needed. haha, that helo comment thre
ad was hilarious!

sorry about that post, I don't want to turn it int

$980.00 one. talk about annoying...

No way Spraggz... You were just giving your opinio

" it does look fake! Good Call!

how far away was that car...how fast does the soun

LOL Spraggz - the deer spins like the kid in the b

e to go run into some deer to be sure - good point
though Dread

First, why did the driver not seem to notice a thi
ng, second, why was the deer running like a loin,
or dog, or something
|

14) by M.T. [05/23/07 09:52:18 PM]
There were definitely Jet turbines at the rear end
of that deer look at how he took off. You are abs
olutely right Spraggz! lol

15) by Spraggz [05/24/07 06:23:04 AM]
to be honest, it could be real because 1.) the dr
iver looked like he tried to swerve at the last mi
nute, but considering the speeds, couldn't do much
, 2.) the driver would keep on going cause he's in
a race, and wants to win damnit
|

16) by Spraggz [05/24/07 06:25:18 AM]
3.) the deer would keep on flying to the other sid
e cause it was really moving and getting hit by th
at car didn't change the trajectory too much, and
4.) that was so cool I just really wish it was rea

I hit a deer with my truck the other day and it to
tally did a 900 through the air with it's legs str
aight out and with no damage whatsoever to the tru
ck either. REAL VID, you guyz are just h8ers. lm
ao roxor woot kewl.

In response to the swerve comment...the driver app
ears to be trying to swerve out of something's way
the whole time. I guess he's trying to hit fewer
bugs to appease karma on account of a brutally mu
rdered deer.

21) by navyseal624 [06/14/07 07:24:17 PM]
you'd think there'd be more damage to the car if i
t was going that fast

22) by Breeeeeze Nutz [06/20/07 03:45:43 PM]
That was actually the Jedi deer. He wasn't hit, h
e flipped out of the way at the last second. So t
he vid must be real. Nothing can hit the Jesi dee
r, you've seen the vid...

23) by Breeeeeze Nutz [06/20/07 03:47:14 PM]
Okay, watch the camera....it pans up real quck jus
t as the deer is hit. Why would it do that if it
didn't hit something? Maybe it was something else
and the deer is bluescreened in the vid.

Fake. DreadGunner, you're probably thinking of Cri
stiano Da Matta's practice incident with a deer at
Road America. That ain't no Champ Car in the vide
o--looks like old LeMans footage. The two mentions
in the link result in a subdural hematoma and a f

definately NOT fake... the driver does swerve to a

moment of impact, you can see a red mist between t

it is real, you can see the driver tries not to hi
t him, and he slows down. The camera is near and t
he sound can travel very fast to the camera, so th
ere is no distance problem i guess..
|

32) by Troyan [08/19/07 09:07:36 PM]
let's use phisics to prove the sound theory. (dis
tance=speed*time). Sounds travels always the same
speed. 300 m/s. Work the formula and you see you
would need 300 meters to make the sound travel to
the camera in one second.
