I do not personally believe she was murdered. Americans on the scene would've reacted the same way. Plus it was in France (of course there were photographers, and they were probably partly the cause, but they couldn't do anything more than the police on the scene).

If they must stay, however, they do show a great tradition. I can't think of many (great) American traditions. Perhaps Thanksgiving.

I do not believe many things copied from America are great, and many things would be worse if they were copied from America (namely the standard of high school and lower teaching and the fact that you have to have massive amounts of health insurance). Bad thing from America: McDonald's and gun warfare (which is starting to increase in the UK). Good thing:technology and stuff like that (though that isn't really something the UK took, they are just products sold here).

| There's a ride exactly like that here in Pittsburgh at Kennywood Park. It's called the King Kahuna. I've lost so many flip flops on that ride. For some reason they dont let you take them off. It's not so much throwing up that people complain about...It's the harnesses, let's just say they were probably designed for women... =X |

| I'm a United States citizen, and I'm not ashamed of that fact, though I am ashamed of our government at the current time. I'm not quite certain why people, specifically bluejack, are consistently making broad, and somewhat harsh, generalizations about three-hundred million people. Doesn't that make you just as ignorant as the people you think you are making fun of? I've traveled abroad and seen why Americans have earned such a poor international reputation, but please don't judge us all, The UK, Australia and other countries in the Westernized world have plenty of ignorant people of their own, as far as I know there isn't a Utopia yet. |
